Until 2000, all pubs in Ireland were required to close from 2pm to 4pm on Sundays to observe the so-called Holy Hour. The funny thing was that as long as you were already inside the bar before 2pm you could stay; the bar just couldn't let anyone in during these hours. Angry wives would often bring the Sunday dinner to the local pub in a futile attempt to embarrass the inebriated husband".
This summer we will be observing The Holy Hour a little different at The Irish Wolfhound Pub. We will be offering 2 Breakfast Burgers with either 2 Domestic Beers or 2 Bloody Mary's for $18
